Swansea Lettings

Jade started with Dawsons in 2006, beginning her career in administration, and has worked through the ranks of negotiator, valuer to the branch manager she is today. Jade is a key staff member in the busy Swansea office. She is highly thought of by customers and staff alike, with a professional nature and friend to all with an impeccable memory to boot. February 2021 Jade is currently on Maternity leave, with Laurence Christmas covering her role. 

A man of many talents Mr Christmas started his working life as a tailor in London before settling into a career in property over 17 years ago here in Swansea in 2003. Laurence then joined Dawsons in September 2013 and has enjoyed a varied role here ever since. Now with his wealth of knowledge, Laurence interacts with both new and seasoned clients on market appraisals and guiding them along their journey as a landlord. Laurence is currently based in our Swansea lettings branch and is covering Jade’s maternity leave during 2021. When not in work you will often find Laurence enjoying family life or running along the seafront, he has also been spotted completing the odd half marathon (provided there is a glass of wine waiting for him at the finish line).

Although Kelly came from a background in retail management she has settled well into her role as a consultant here in Dawsons, joining us in 2014. Kelly has made a huge impact on the Swansea office, both socially and physically and is most certainly a key member of the team. Since joining Dawsons Kelly has caught the running bug and can often be found along the seafront .

Coming from a lettings background, Bernadette started in our Morriston rentals office in 2013 as a lettings consultant, moving to Swansea office in December 2016 to resume the same role within a different team. Bernadette sits in the hot seat of the Swansea office greeting all the footfall through the door. In her spare time Bernadette enjoys cooking and spending time with friends and family.

Previously living life in the sunshine working as a holiday rep, Gethin joined the company in 2007, working in the Swansea office as a consultant and specialising in our student lets. Gethin is a family man who loves nothing more than to pack up his camper van and escape at the weekends.

Annette joined the property management team in 2015 coming from a property management background previously. Annette is a tonic to have in the office, and you can often hear her laughter coming from the maintenance office. When not in work Annette is a fantastic baker, mother and grandmother.

Yvonne has worked part time in our property management team here in Dawsons since 2008. Yvonne is a ray of sunshine to the maintenance team, bringing calm and tranquillity to the busy setting, and very often cake of many varieties. When not in work Yvonne enjoys spending her time with her family.

Christine joined our Swansea lettings property management team in August 2019 with over 6 year’s experience in property management. When not in work Christine enjoys travelling and spending time with her family.

Gemma is one of our long standing members of staff having been employed with Dawsons since 2005.  Gemma returned to where it all started for her in our Swansea lettings branch in 2020 after 10+ years with our Mumbles Lettings team. Within 'team Dawsons' Gemma often takes on the role of organising the social calendar for birthdays and events! Gemma loves the simple life, friends, family and Joes ice cream!

Josie came to Dawsons as a property inspector within our property management team in January 2019 with experience of working within another local estate agent. Prior to working within estate agency Josie has experience within the beauty trade. In Josie’s spare time she enjoys relaxing with her family, holidaying with friends and taking Alfie for a walk.

Haydn joined Dawsons within our property management, client support and property review team in September 2021, having worked within property management for several years Haydn brings with him a wealth of expertise. Haydn’s experience in support and social work will assist him greatly with the client engagement in his role. Outside of work you will find Haydn baking, walking his 4 legged friends and raising money for much needed local charities.

Judy joined Dawsons in October 2019 having arrived in Wales in the September from South Africa, with 20 years’ experience as a property specialist in sales. Judy prides herself on providing a professional service with integrity. In Judy's spare time she enjoys spending time with family, going for long walks exploring the beautiful countryside and loves to totter in the garden.

Judy joined our property management team in our Swansea lettings branch in May 2021.  Judy started her career in property back in 1987 at Cornerstone alongside our senior partner Chris Hope, and has since expanded her knowledge greatly of property over the years, this alongside her wealth of customer care experience having also worked within the DVLA and Wales Probation Trust.  When not in work you will find Judy gardening, baking, and enjoying her love for interior design.  Judy also enjoys spending time with her family and her new Kittens.

Alex joined our Swansea lettings team in November 2019 as our office based administration coordinator, working full time.  Whilst from Wales, Alex has returned from a long time in South Africa so is adjusting back to the UK and our weather temps.  Alex has worked in administration all her life so brings with her a wealth of experience. When not in work Alex very much enjoys family time, entertaining and enjoying the Gower coast.

Julie works part time in our lettings department within all 5 offices, having joined us in October 2002, Julie is very much a part of the lettings team as a whole.  Julie assists the department with administration and office cover, so is often in a different office each day.  Whilst not in the office you can find Julie following both the Wales and Ospreys rugby teams or holidaying with friends and family. 

Kate became a vital member of the admin team in 2015, bringing with her, her positive outlook, strong IT mind and attention to detail, which the Swansea office would be lost without. Kate is determined to have an office pet, but has currently settled for a soft panda instead.

Naomi began her career in estate agency in 2003, gaining experience as administrator through to lettings manager before joining Dawsons in 2011. After returning from maternity in 2017, Naomi now works part time within the Directors office,  heading up the in house marketing team and completing everyday tasks for both the Lettings and Sales directors alongside her role within the training arm of the business amongst many other things. While not in work you will find Naomi busy with her family or out and about with the scout association.
